- Qur’an recitation strengthens human souls and spirits and helps them overcome hardships and problems in this life.
- Reciting the Qur’an in a house will enlighten it (the house). (Al-Kafi, vol 2, p 610)
- It will soften our hearts
Remove the stain and rust from our hearts. (Kanz-o Al-Ummal, vol2, hadith no. 3924)
- Our sins will be removed through the recitation of the Qur’an. As a matter of fact, recitation of Qur’anic verses provides atonement for our sins. In Wasael Al-Shia, vol 4, p 839
- According to the Prophet (P), whoever wishes to speak with God must recite the Qur’an. (Kanz-o Al-Ummal, vol 21, hadith no. 2257)
- Reciting the Qur’an strengthens our faith in God. (Ghurar Al-Hekam and Durar Al-Kelam, p 263)
